Home of the transplanted human skin psoriasis model
Derphartox is specialized in developing and validating models of skin diseases and dermal toxicology (in vitro) which enable customers to perform preclinical studies effectively. Derphartox is using among others a “Transplanted human skin” model of psoriasis, which is the only one in which complex interactions between the skin and infiltrating (T)-cells are reproduced in human tissue in vivo. Derphartox has modified the protocol so that it can be used for the routine testing of therapeutic candidate compounds for the treatment of psoriasis.
There are many applications for transplanted human skin e.g. skin diseases, wound healing and other applications in chronic metabolism studies. Other models are in vitro toxicology using human skin explant cultures, including keratinocytes, fibroblasts, mixed cell cultures and skin equivalents from healthy and diseased skin.
